We are a strategic and forward-thinking Trust, and we recognise that our staff are a precious resource in our efforts to go beyond expectations for all of God's children.

We aim to appoint and develop colleagues who are welcoming, compassionate, highly motivated and who can promote high expectations and aspirations throughout the Trust.  We want our staff to thrive and will do all we can to support them in that mission.

Do you know who your school Wellness Champion is?  What about your Mental Health First Aider?  We all need to take responsibility for our own wellness, but there are plenty of others out there to support us on the journey too.

Using the links to the right, you will find a range of resources to support you.

When it comes to wellness, our CEO, Mark Lacey, says this:

"Like me, I am sure you can point to times in your experience as a child or an adult when your wellness has been compromised.  For me, this is personal: I can testify to a time when I reached a point of breakdown and wasn’t sure how to continue.  Thankfully, through the reality of faith, and the support of treasured friends and colleagues, I was able to find a way back.  I am now in a place where I can share that story with others, but it has been, at times, a tough journey.  My conversations with many in our Trust leave me in no doubt that, following the challenges of the pandemic, our reserves are diminished, and our resilience tested like never before.  I am touched by the extraordinary acts of generosity and kindness that I see every day as staff support one another and the children and families in their care.  I am grateful too for the commitment of those who are taking our Flourishing Strategy forward.  Together we can do this!"

We have signed up to the DFE Well-Being Charter.  You can see the details of this below as well as our own 'Love your neighbour as yourself' document.
